Spinal Manipulation Therapy
At your first appointment, your Physical Therapist will perform a thorough evaluation and develop a personalized rehabilitation treatment program with you that may include Spinal Manipulation Therapy.
What is Spinal Manipulation Therapy?
Spinal Manipulation Therapy is a technique that treats back pain, neck pain and other musculoskeletal conditions via the application of force to the spinal joints, with the idea being that such treatment of dysfunctional areas in the spine can restore the spine’s structural integrity, reduce pain and initiate the body’s natural healing processes.
Benefits of Spinal Manipulation Therapy:
Spinal Manipulation Therapy relieves pressure on joints, reduces inflammation, and improves nerve function. It’s often used to treat back, neck, shoulder, hip, and headache pain.

What Our Clients Say
Great people and good service. Highly recommend! There are so many things to love about Low Country Physical Therapy in Pawleys Island. Everyone—from the office staff to the PTAs, PTs, and wellness staff—are friendly, professional, and patient-oriented. I didn’t know what to expect, as I had never had a need for PT before, but I love the set-up, professionalism, and very friendly atmosphere. After two visits I could really start to see a difference in range of motion, and I gained so much info that I can also use at home to help the progression of my healing process. I really enjoy walking into a place where everyone is happy to be there (and very happy to help). So happy to be “on the mend,” thanks to Low Country Physical Therapy!
