Melanie grew up in the Chicago area and attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology in 2015. She then moved to Saint Louis, Missouri, where she received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree at Washington University in St. Louis in 2018.  

She began her career at an outpatient orthopedic clinic in Clarksville, Tennessee before she moved to South Carolina in December 2019 with her husband. She has been working for Low Country Physical Therapy since October of 2020.  

Melanie has since become certified in the Astym technique and dry needling. She also became a board certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS). She loves to further her knowledge in the profession of Physical Therapy so she can give her patients the best care possible.  

Melanie loves helping people of all ages and abilities but has a special interest in treating athletes as she grew up playing soccer, basketball, and volleyball. 

Melanie is certified in the Astym technique.
